An afternoon of fun!

Well friends, today after church I went to a crop with my friend Shirley. I met a couple of new ladies there and another friend and we had a lot of fun. Janice showed us how to make a mini album from an altoids can (thanks Janice)!! When I got home and signed on, I was lucky enough to see a chance to win a stamp set I want on stamp tv. So I followed the link to the blog offering the przie Nina B. who is the designer of the stamp (and one of my fav designers on stamp tv). I am posting the card I made for her challenge, I hope you like it. Check out Nina's site @ http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/   you can also buy her stamps at stamptv.com

Thanks for looking! Nancy

braided ribbon tutorial

Ok, as promised, I am going to attempt to upload my video tutorial on my braided ribbon. Please keep in mind this is my first ever video tutorial and it may not be the best but hopefully it's enough to teach you how to make it. I will be filming the ribbon rose in a little bit and will try to get it uploaded this weekend.

Happy New Year

Hi everyone, I wanted to wish you all a very happy New Year. I have been very busy over the holidays working on ideas and plans for this years classes. I hope to get the list posted in the next week or so. In the meantime, I'd like to share the first class with you. This class will be held on Wed Jan 6th & 10th. The 6th has already been filled due to the email I sent out, but there is still room on the 10th from 1-4. Please let me know by the 6th if you want to attend the class on the 10th so I can cut accordingly. This sweet little desk calendar has 4 drawers, one on each side and an easel card on top. The calendar is a tear away for each month. The cost of this class is only $15.00 and all supplies are included. The only thing I ask you to bring is your own adhesive. Please email me at sentiments@ns.sympatico.ca to register for this class.

Hi everyone! An important announcement to make so please take a quick minute to read this. Donna MacAdams ( owner of The Stamping Room) and I have decided it would be a good idea to move the classes down to her store on Medford road. Donna has spent the last few months renovationg the "Dome" and it's amazing! She's also got a separate room there now where we will be having classes! YAY!!! Donna has much more room than I do at the present time and knowing my husband as I do, my classroom in the basement is years away (quite possibly decades away unless they cancel star treck reruns)!

So from now on, All of my classes will be held at The Stamping Room. I have just updated the blog with the new class list until the new year. We're having a lot of fun at classes, learning a lot of new things and just being with people that "get what we do" is an amazing experience!

so why not join us for a class or two! Come on down to "The stamp room", I have given Donna some samples of the upcoming classes for displays and hope to get the rest of them to her by the weeks end. Unless otherwise posted on the list, all classes are $15.00 and all supplies are included. Weekday classes are from 7-10 and sunday classes are from 1-4
